The Nencki Institute Research Station in Mikołajki and the Masurian Landscape Park cordialy invite you to the next edition of the SCIENCE FESTIVAL, which will take place on November 22nd, 2019 (Friday) at the Research Station of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Mikołajki (ul. Leśna 13) between 9 A.M. and 1 P.M. This year, together with biologists from the University of Warmia and Mazury and archaeologists from the University of Warsaw, we will prepare a lot of interesting classes on forest, polar, archeological and water topics. You will learn a lot of curiosities about the Piska Forest, white storks, Antarctic microbes, the North Pole and greenland whales, excavations and burials, and planctonic organisms of our lakes. Due to high interest and limited number of places, organized school groups please make a reservation by phone: 692 49-56-74 (Tomasz Janecki) or by e-mail: t.janecki@nencki.gov.pl. Each classes start at full hours: 9, 10, 11 and 12 and lasts about 50 minutes.

Throughout the summer holiday (till the end of August) we cordially invite you to a photo exhibition entitled “ANTARCTIC NATURE AND “ARCTOWSKI” POLISH ANTARCTIC STATION” by Tomasz Janecki, member of many research expeditions to Antarctica and to the Arctic.
