On Saturday, 8th October, the 3th Educational Workshop was organized on the Hydrobiological Station – Mikołajki by the BioCentrum Scientific Education and the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS. Despite the rainy weather about 110 students from high, middle and primary schools from Mikołajki, Mrągowo and Woźnice and participated in this workshop. Young people learned about the secrets of proteins and DNA, unusual properties of catalase, alginine, strach, lactose, red cabbage juis and saw on big screen (in 3D) the planktonic organisms living in the lake Mikołajskie (TJ).
