On May 13, 2017, an open science workshop “Ecology of spring” was held at the Station, which we organized jointly with the Mazurian Landscape Park. During the classes the participants learned what interesting they can see in spring in the still cold waters of Lake Mikołajski (using 3D imaging microscopes), learned how to recognize the most common aquatic invertebrates, familiarized themselves with the equipment used for hydrobiological studies, measured the basic parameters of water etc. (TJ)
