On October 5th, 2018  the next edition of our largest educational event – Science Festival took placeat the Research Station of the Nencki Institute in Mikołajki. For several years we organizing it together with the Masurian Landscape Park. This year we were visited by as many as 285 primary and high school students from Mikolajki, Woźnice, Dąbrówka, Okartowa, Pisz, Giżycko and even Stare Juch, for whom we prepared the following workshops and lectures: “About words a few”, “Dragonflies and moths of Masurian Park Landscape “,” Winter tracks and traces of animals “,” Zooplankton of Mazurian lakes “,” Rocks and fossils of north-eastern Poland “and “What lives on the coldest continent?”and “Arctic – a land of ice-covered horror”.
